About two weeks ago I finally decided to sign up for a twitter account. So far, I must say I'm enjoying it quite a bit. I've met some interesting people and shared many a tweets. One person in particular, tw3ntyeight has really motivated me and my urge to get more involved in the tech community. His starting of the online Tweet-up, in an effort with jeffisageek, just might be the next great phenomenon. Well all right, that might be going a bit overboard but they are doing something quite interesting.

A few minutes ago, I received a tweet from @NewMediaCincy about an interesting event taking place here in the Cincinnati area. The event is being hosted by Cincinnati Startup Drinks. With a name like that, I had to look a bit deeper. It turns out that Cincinnati Startup Drinks is a local group that recently started with the intent of bringing local entrepreneur's together over a couple of beers.
