iPhone 3G Cracked - hardware not software

It was bound to happen. Simply a matter of time. I should've seen it coming. This describes just a few of the thoughts that raced through my head as I watched my iPhone plummet onto the pavement. That and the yelling out of "Oh my Gosh! You have got to be #@%* kidding me!"

Apple "Let's Rock" event

Well, the Apple Let's Rock event has come and gone. The highlights were basically on the iPod and iTunes but an announcement was made about a new iPhone update as well.

iPhone / iPod Touch 2.0.1 Update

It didn't take but a couple of weeks and a new update is here for the iPhone and the iPod Touch. It is supposedly contains bug fixes although I didn't read in depth about what bugs it is addressing. Needless to say, my new 3G iPhone has been rather sluggish when it comes to performance and the battery life has been terrible. While I'm SOL with the battery life, hopefully this fix will address some of the other performance issues.
