Upgrade them Drupal installs

Drupal 6.4 and Drupal 5.10 maintenance releases are now available on Drupal.org. So as usual, I strongly urge you to go ahead and get your code base updated as soon as possible. This is the best way to make sure your site is secure.

Drupal 5.9 released, Views 2 RC

I know, I know...you just updated your Drupal 5.x release to 5.8. Well it turns out that a vulnerability fix was inadvertently left out. So while it may be the greatest news to you, at least we know the Drupal community is monitoring its releases closely which is always a plus.

Also, for those of you looking to run the latest Views 2 release candidate, you're going to have to update to Drupal 6.3. I should've mentioned this in my last post however, I overlooked it. I ran into the issue when the Views 2 kept griping at me.

Drupal 6.3 and 5.8 - maintenance and security

Well I'm about 9 days late on this so most of you have all ready updated your site to the latest 6.3 and 5.8 releases. If you haven't I suggest you do so as soon as possible so you can keep things secure. With that said however, I haven't exactly practiced what I'm preaching. This site and the rest of my Drupal 6 sites have all been udpated to 6.3 from the obvious 6.2. Although this was much easier as they are all being run from the same install-base.

Drupal 6.2 Update and Views 2 Install

Drupal 6 ReleaseWell I just happened to stop by Drupal |dot| org today and noticed that Drupal 6.2 has been released. It doesn't contain any new features, as all new features will be poured into the much anticipated D7, but it fixed a couple of small contextual errors as well as some security holes. While I was reading over these updates, I figured I'd check on the status of Views 2.

A new approach and Drupalol

As you may have read in my previous blog entry, I'm in the process of rethinking my website and what I want it to provide. I've gotten into the habit of providing nothing more than static content in my previous renditions of corydorning |dot| com, which thanks to godaddy |dot| com, is now corydorning |dot| net (it's a long story). It was the usual about, portfolio, resume, and services information which was rather dry. But after pondering for awhile of what I could and wanted do to make this site more interactive and provide better information, I realized something.
